This garment decorating method combines the computerized cutting technology used in the instant sign-making industry with patented CAD-CUT® materials designed for heat application to all types of fabrics. CAD-CUT® is a registered trademark of Stahls’ ID Direct, the company that introduced the concept to the garment decoration industry.

Here is a general overview of of the CAD-CUT ® process:
CREATE: Design the artwork on a computer using specialized cutting software
CUT: Load a cuttable material in the cutter and output the design
WEED: Remove the excess material away from the design
HEAT APPLY: Use a Hotronix® heat press to press the finished design, logo or name on the desired garment

CadworxLIVE® has a CAD-CUT® material designed for use on every fabric, so you can print everything from cotton t-shirts to nylon jackets with CAD-CUT® materials. It is available by the roll or in convenient one-yard cuts.
