These are "not to exceed width values". So to size in Easy Teams, double click on the number and set size to 8" in the size window.
Note: If you want to constrain the width on a per garment basis, you will have to set that in the grid. If you want to constrain width across the entire roster you can do that in Options tab. The differentiator being, if you have youth/adult sizes mixed on the same team. It's really about embellishment regions on different size shirts as you couldn't put a 14 inch wide name on a youth small shirt.
