Unsupported cutters and will fall under the trial and error scenario....
In order to test your cutter, please have Windows 7 or higher.
Make sure all drivers are installed and able to cut using the cut program that came bundled with the cutter. BUT most importantly, make sure the cut program supports the .plt file format!! (If it does not, it will not work with VectorCUT!)
Next, install VectorCUT 2.0 which you can find under Support/Downloads.
Next, open VectorCUT 2.0 and select the Universal HPGL cutter.
Next, select the Properties button and select how you're connected to the cutter. Normally it's via USB so select the Printer Port and if the driver is installed correctly, the cutter should be listed in the cutter pulldown list. Select it, then select OK.
Next, open Windows Control Panel and select Devices and Printers. The cutter should be listed under the Printer and Faxes. (If not, try selecting Add Printer and follow the process to adding a printer.)
Next, Right click on the cutter and select Printer Properties. Select the Port tab and make sure that the cutter is connected to a USB port. (Normally USB001, but can be higher USB002, USB003 etc...)
Now select OK and make a small test file and attempt to make a cut. If supported, you should be able to make a connection and cut at this time.
If you have troubles making the connection, please contact CadworxLIVE Support to verify all settings are correct.
